Can you tell me where you were born and where you live now?
תשובה טובה:
I was born in Madrid, Spain, but I moved to London when I was 12 because my parents got new jobs. I now live in a small flat in Camden. The move was exciting because I got to meet new friends and learn a different culture. I love living here because the city is full of opportunities.
What is one important event that happened in your life?
תשובה טובה:
The most important event for me was winning a national debate competition at university. I felt proud and surprised because I never thought I would win. The victory boosted my confidence and made me realise I could speak in public. It also helped me get internships in media.
How did that event change you?
תשובה טובה:
That debate win made me more confident to speak in front of big audiences. I learnt that preparing and practising are very important, so now I always rehearse before I speak. It’s important because public speaking is essential for my work in journalism. I now volunteer as a debate coach for school students.
What are you doing now to follow your dreams?
תשובה טובה:
I am currently working part-time as a junior reporter while studying journalism. I also write a blog about media trends, which builds my portfolio. These activities are important because they give me real experience and help improve my writing. I plan to apply for a full-time job after I finish my course.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to achieve similar goals?
תשובה טובה:
My advice is to set clear, realistic goals and track your progress. I find that breaking big tasks into smaller steps keeps me motivated. For example, I aim to write one article a week, which helps me stay consistent. This works because it makes big tasks easier to manage.
